Half way through this semester, we have worked with many different readings and different activites. We read the 2 main core readings which were, Adrienne Rich, Paulo Freire, and Mary Louise Pratt. We wrote papers on those readings and for some we got responses back, and also wrote responses. We talked about the criteria each paper has, whether its an A paper or B. We presented the evaluation criteria with a little group. We had class workshops, which helped me because I got to see other peoples work and how they wrote. We talked about engfish and watched a few films, one including Binta.
The most important thing I have learned so far is to take alot of notes and read ahead from when something is due. My goal on my contract was to have a better understanding on how to write a paper, and to be a better writer. I think I accomplished that so far but I can still learn more about writing papers.
